Notice: Planned Power outage the night of June 9
Due to a planned power outage at St. Albert Place the night of Friday, June 9, patrons will experience some interruptions in online library access. Between 11:30 p.m. June 9 and 8:00 a.m. June 10, library users will not be able to access their account information, place holds, or renew items; some eLibrary resources will also be unavailable during this time. The outage will not impact access to the library website. We appreciate your understanding.

Celebrating National Indigenous History Month
June is National Indigenous History Month, a great time to explore, honour, and celebrate the rich history, heritage, diversity and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Library staff have curated book lists for readers of all ages. Look for in-library displays at both locations for more great reading suggestions. Rainbow Reads for Pride Month
June is also Pride Month, and library staff are celebrating with these curated materials lists for all ages that highlight and honour the resilience, contributions, and stories of LGBTQ+ people and communities. Check out in-library displays all month long at both locations for more great reads, and watch for the Library Outreach Van at community Pride events!

STARFest Online presents Ellen Keith on June 25
STARFest is pleased to announce the return of historical fiction author Ellen Keith in an online event Sunday, June 25 at 1 p.m. MDT. Keith charmed STARFest audiences in 2018 with her novel, The Dutch Wife; now she returns virtually with The Dutch Orphan, an intricate and moving story in which two sisters’ loyalties to spouse, country, and each other are tested when the Nazis invade Amsterdam in 1941. Ellen will be in conversation with fellow STARFest alumna Elinor Florence. Free admission, registration is required.
