Friends of St. Albert Public Library

St. Albert Association of Friends of the Public Library (the Friends) is a charitable non-profit organization of library lovers who volunteer, fundraise, and advocate to support the St. Albert Public Library.
Since 1988, they have donated over $300,000 to the Library. They raise funds, act as advocates, encourage membership, and volunteer.
Over the years, the Friends have supported many initiatives at St. Albert Public Library:
- STARFest
- The children’s summer reading game
- Christmas Around the World
- Furniture at Jensen Lakes Library
- New technology and equipment
- …and much more!
Support the Library
As a registered charity and Public Foundation, the Friends welcome individual and corporate donations. They can issue charitable tax receipts to donations over $20.
