Volunteering at the Library

At St. Albert Public Library, we strive to make a difference in your life and in the lives of others in our community! You can help us make a difference in the lives of our patrons.

Meet new people and share your skills - be a library volunteer!

Our volunteers are valuable members of our team who help in a variety of ways - shelving materials, outreach services, and behind-the-scenes tasks such as book repair, preparing materials for children's programs and much more.

We select from applicants as positions become available. If a volunteer position becomes available, a staff member will connect with you to determine suitability.

We appreciate your interest in volunteering with the Library; however, not all who apply are accepted, as our needs and opportunities vary throughout the year.

If you would like to learn about more volunteer opportunities in St. Albert, please contact the St. Albert Community Information and Volunteer Centre.

If you have further questions please complete the Contact Us form.

The Friends of the St. Albert Public Library are community members who value the Library. The Friends welcome people of all ages and interests.
