Field Trips to the Library

Come down to the library for a tour and presentation that can include how the library is organzied, how to do research, catalogue and internet searching tips and getting kids excited about reading.

We will tailor our tours to specific themes or requests from teachers and group leaders.

Young Readers’ Choice Awards Kits

Borrow a YRCA book kit for your classroom. Each kit contains:

  • 2 copies of each nominated book
  • A resource guide with information about the books and authors, and voting ballots

Help For Reluctant & Struggling Readers

Reading Buddies, is a library program for students in Grades 2- 6 who struggle with reading. Students read with a volunteer buddy (teens, parents, or seniors) from the community. Call 780-459-1532 for more information and to register.
